Sunday Breakfast

We are SO happy today to have Daddy at home instead of on call. This morning he and Brinley made pancakes and she specifically requested that he "make a Mickey Mouse pancake just like my grandma does." So here we have Brinley's Mickey Mouse pancake! Avery also enjoyed her fair share of Daddy's home made pancakes.

Another Avery Attack

We are confident that our little miss Avery will be able to succeed at whatever she puts her mind to in life. Here is a little example of her everyday determination to get just
what it is that she wants.

She notices Brinley from across the room with a cup of water and makes a mad dash crawl over to her big sister.
As she arrives to her destination she attempts to grab the cup by crawling on top of Brinley.
Unable to reach the cup she wobbles back and forth, on top of Brinley, trying to stretch her arm out to the desired object and both girls tumble over onto the floor.

A FOND FAREWELL!

A fond farewell to my ladies who stamped these past 10 months with me in my first official Ohio Stamp Club! Even though 5 of you were out of town and others unable to attend our final club night, I will MISS those of you who are not continuing on in a July club! I hope you all keep enjoying Stampin' Up and I would love to have you stop by anytime, especially if you bring projects you have made!
I will be updating my blog from now on with my other two clubs monthly projects, so keep checking now and then to see what we are up to! I will also post projects I see and create at the Stampin' Up Convention which I will be attending in Denver this summer! Keep in touch!

Brinley's Prayer

A portion of Brinley's bedtime prayer tonight:
"Heavenly Father, we are so grateful that Jesus is resurrected and will never have to be nailed on the cross again...or be hit, or be scratched."

End of Intern Year!

Our Intern Year At A Glance:
*Working all night long for a month straight.
*Eating lots of not so great hospital cafeteria food.
*Writing countless patient
notes, orders and prescriptions.
*Practicing in a different field of medicine each month.
*Having "family time" with us in the cafeteria during a quick break.
* Pulling 26 hour shifts on the weekends.

*Becoming a better doctor each day.
*Studying early in the morning and late into the night...

and though it all he kept a positive attitude and spent every extra moment devoted to being the worlds best husband and father. Now that Cody is just a few shifts shy of completing his intern year he is looking onward with eagerness to beginning the next 5 years of his radiology residency training.

Aunt Kelty's Visit

What a wonderful time we had with Aunt Kelty last week! Right from the first morning Kelty was with us Brinley decided that she did not want Mommy to help her out anymore. Every time we would get out of the car, walk in the street, get dressed, etc... she would say "I want Aunt Kelty to hold my hand" or " I want Kelty to strap me into the car." Brinley loved creating amazing sidewalk chalk drawings of my little ponies with her artist Aunt and going swimming with her. I selfishly enjoyed having the extra help and it was nice to be relieved of my playmate role for a few days. One night Kelty and I went to the Melting Pot and relished a delicious fondue style dinner complements of Grandma Ginger! We miss you already Kelty!
