My Business Launch

Last week I hosted a business launch event.
We are not a party-based business, thank goodness,
so this is the only event I plan to host in my home.

It was so great to have several of my team members there to support
and help present!

Aubrey is a labor and delivery nurse, Susie is a midwife and Kristin is a nurse anesthetist. They are now able to step back from their medical worlds a bit as they grow
into their R+F consulting worlds!

It was awesome to have a wonderful group of friends from Lifetime,
from Cody's hospital, from our street and from other walks of life join us for this launch event.

We had the chance to talk about Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields,
the four clinical regimens and enjoy food and conversation.

After the event was over and the house cleaned up
Cody took a few pictures of my skin
and of me with the two tools and eye cream....for a special I offered to customers!

In just 60 days I have grown and learned a LOT.
I have made new friends.
I have connected to old ones.
I am growing a team and learning to be a better leader.
It is awesome and I am excited!

Random Happenings

Brinley is really developing her skills in the hair department...

 and her mother
could not be more thrilled!

We LOVE plate with different sections...especially the children!

We also love lunch containers with sections.
I pack lunches for the children with these containers nearly everyday!

I am having so much fun with my new business and
surprise gifts are a great bonus!

Reese makes this face a lot lately.

The other day I was attempting to have a serious conversation with her and she just kept pulling this face over and over again.

It was pretty much impossible for me to keep a straight face.
Kids are awesome!

The end.

Easter 2016

Each year the children receive their own
dozen real eggs to dye the day before Easter.

Messy fingers are always a part of this activity!

The eggs are set out in the night so that the Easter bunny can hide them...
that Easter bunny, always so dependable!

We had to get up bright and early to do our hunt
before packing up in the car at 8:40am to head to church.

Avery, Aspen and Reese had a delightful time searching for their eggs and baskets.

The Easter bunny hides those eggs high and low and everywhere in between,
so sometimes Daddy needs to assist in recovering the eggs.

Quite unfortunately Brinley spent Easter eve
  throwing up...all night long,
so her sisters helped to find her basket and eggs while she laid on the couch.

Yearly traditions are important and special!
This is ONE of our Easter traditions that is fun and memorable
and very much just like the ones I remember as a child.

St. Patricks Day

Saint Patricks day for Irish Dancers in Dublin Ohio represents two weeks
worth of parades and performances!

Here are some pictures of a few of the events we participated in:

Junior Varsity had an evening performace at Embassy Suites.

All the girls danced at elementary school shows.
This year was special because, for the first time,
one of the shows was at Avery & Aspen's elementary school.

Above is a picture of Aspen with her beloved teacher!

The girls danced with their academy down the Dublin parade route.
I just LOVE this picture of Aspen in mid-air!

After the parade the girls had a moment to watch before
we needed to RUSH off to the next performance at Thrive Market.

The girls were SO thrilled that they did not have to wear wigs
at this show because there was not time between the parade and start time to put them on.

Avery and Brinley participated in a show at a nearby retirement home for 40+ residents living there.
It was delightful to see the joy our dancers brought to this elderly audience!

Ms. Allanda, one of our fantastic teachers, is pictured above with Avery.
She has been teaching the girls to dance from day ONE.
We love her and appreciate her patient, consistent devotion to our girls.

Above, the girls school mates ready for the dancers to start the show.
If you look really close you can see Brinley and Avery side stage.

After the school shows we RACED
downtown to dance down the Columbus St. Patricks day parade route.

Below is a little behind the scenes peek at how wig magic happens.
Lot's of bobby pins, bumps and hairspray!

After the parade we had lunch at North Market
and topped off the crazy morning with Jeni's Ice cream.

I wanted to capture this cart (below)
of St. Patricks day garb being sold at the Dublin parade.
HA, love it!

We are growing to LOVE and embrace these yearly traditions in
what we are coming to truly believe is our forever homeland.
