Nana's Visit

A couple of weeks ago Nana came in from San Diego for a visit!

(Reese was not at all concerned about getting friendly with these flamingos)

The children were so excited for her to arrive and thrilled at the opportunity to join Daddy
to pick her up from the airport.

We were able to do several fun activities with Nana while she was here like going to the Zoo, to COSI, seeing an IMAX and eating out, however, the girls favorite activities were when Nana took them (and me) to get a pedicure and...

when Nana played with them in the pool at Lifetime.

They also enjoyed showing Nana their improved Irish dancing skills
and teaching her to play some of their favorite card games.

Thanks for coming out to visit us Nana.
We love you!

Our Next Big Move

We have made a lot of moves in our nearly 13 years of marriage.
First from Los Angeles, CA to Kirksville, MO for Cody to start medical school.

Then from MO to Provo, UT for clinical rotations.

After rotations we moved to Columbus, OH for intern year, residency and fellowship...

and now we are going to be moving again,
but not quite so far this time.

We are building a new home just about 20 min. North of where we live now and will be moving in sometime in the beginning of 2015!

This week crews started to do tree removal...and boy where there a TON of them.
Above you can see just a few of the trunks. We will still have lots of trees near the back part of our property line and because we back up into reserve land, there will always be an extensive amount of trees behind our home.

As soon as the permits come back they will begin to dig the foundation.

We simply could not feel more excited about this next home for our family.
Many years of hard work and delayed gratification
makes this opportunity even more wonderful and exciting!
