Cleveland Corporate Event and Training
Last weekend I was able to attend a corporate event on Friday night.
I was ABSOLUTELY delighted to have three of my business parters (above with Lia Pickle)
fly across the country to be in attendance!
Lacey, Whitney and Shyane are taking off in their businesses and
super committed and it is so fun to support them.
Merideth Tesein (above) is a corporate representative and she is truly an exceptional and inspiring person! She has helped me through the terrible and unexpected situation with my sponsor.
I got to know her when she spent a good 1.5 hours on the phone crying, laughing and just pouring into me with her kindness and love. I was able to spend more time with her in Cleveland, one on one, and she actually agreed to personally train my team! LOVE HER!
Above with Micah Pickle, Lia's husband.
They are moving into our neighborhood in just one week and we
are so excited to have them close to us!
Growing to LOVE these girls, pictured below with our lovely Jessica Bettencourt!
On Saturday I had five more local ladies from my team come up for the training.
Just ONE year ago I had a team of ZERO and today that team of
NONE has grown into a team of nearly 200!
It was special to be asked to train this group of hundreds of consultants.
I feel like I'm in my element being able to passionately share what
I have learned has worked.
During a "Leader Luncheon" I had the privilege of recognizing Lacey in her promotion to Level V with a necklace from Tiffany's! Shyane snapped this picture right before we embraced.
Such a wonderful moment!!
Our team has such a bright future together and it makes me so excited!
Our next business trip is coming up in May when we will be heading to Nashville, TN!!
I am SO thankful for this amazing journey!!

Team Cruise 2017
Mike and Jessica are top leaders in the business and have become a couple we respect and admire!
It was wonderful to learn more about the goodness of the people I work with as we ate long dinners and heard of their stories of mission trips. adoptions and other Christian endeavors.
Jessica put together a scavenger hunt on the ship. We had to run together from place to place taking silly pictures. It was a lot of fun! Later that day Kristin treated me to a massage
at the spa on the ship!!
I was invited to participate in a leaders champaign toast prior to dinner one of nights.
Cody and I drank wanter quite elegantly from our champaign glasses.
I've become dear friends with a leader named Heather (pictured above to my left, blond hair).
She came to my room and we sat on the balcony and talked for two hours one day.
I have come to really love her.
Below is my friend Alyssa. She was introduced to the business after her daughter was diagnosed with cancer...right after which her husband lost his job.
She hit the top of the company in 18 months time, a record breaking rise! She has become dear to me, she shares my faith and I LOVED spending a little more time with her on the cruise!
In Costa Maya we rented a little golf cart to get around.
This is the port where we visited the schools.
The water was cold, so we really didn't spend much time in the ocean.
Cody just took a quick dip while I did some reading on a beach chair.
I loved seeing this sign at one of the schools! LIVE YOUR DREAMS IN BIG!
That is exactly what I am striving to do!
It was fun to get to know some of the other consultants better!
I really love hearing about others lives and showing interest and love and care.
On Cozumel we went snorkeling. It was OKAY, not great, but we made the most of it!
Afterwards we had the best meal of the trip - fresh lobster!!
It was a terrific trip to celebrate accomplishments in the business
and contemplate our future moving forward!

THEM
With the little extra funds she was able to scrape together, my mother made travel a priority. Staying in the cheapest lodging kept us close to the heart of why she worked so hard to make our travels possible - to experience the life THEY lived. Today in Costa Maya we visited the tiny local high school and sat with students during a literacy class. At the elementary school the children loved talking with us, mostly my Spanish speaking better half. They were delighted to offer us snacks, show of their rocks (the only toys on the playground) and tell us all about their school. This was the best part of our port - THEM.

Best Team Ever
Dear Team,
As you know, much of my success in this business comes as a byproduct of your accomplishments. YOU'VE trusted. YOU'VE shared. YOU'VE promoted and I feel "mama bear" proud of each of YOU! As truly terrific as this cruise has been, I've found myself longing to have you here so that we could experience this together. I eagerly await our travels together, some of which are right around the corner! For now I want to remind you that I am forever thankful that you said YES because that decision has not only blessed your life, but is absolutely blessing mine too!!

Our Tribe
When I look at the growing body of leaders I've sailed with this week, I think about those who are not YET in this picture. I think about how many lives each of these leaders have been able to bless with this opportunity. This tribe is about empowering, supporting and pressing onward to create meaningful change for others. I am proud to be a part of that change

They Deserve the Spotlight
As I walk off our ship I cannot end this trip without taking a moment to highlight the unsung heroes on any cruise. Most of the 1000+ employees on our ship were from third-world countries. Men and women who leave their spouses and children to work for 6 to 7 months straight and then spend a "max of three months" at home, before returning to another run of working long,
exhausting days as they humbly serve US.
Who celebrates the waiter that is eager to return home before his sons first birthday? Who takes the time to appreciate the stateroom attendant that is hoping to earn up enough to support a family someday? Who shows interest in the employee that leaves his two young children and wife for most months out of the year in order to clothe and feed them?!
What if THEIR stories were broadcast on the big screen and social media? What if we took a quiet moment to appreciate what their daily reality looks like? These are the unsung heroes in our midst and throughout the world!

Auntie Week
This afternoon we said goodbye to her again. Our earth angel doesn't have wings, yet she's taken flight year after year to serve our family. Yvette is dependably eager to calendar a week every year to tend the children while we are away. The girls and parents both look forward to "Auntie week!" Through her consistent love and devotion she has become a significant part of our forever family. Thank you for another wonderful week Auntie!
